Dr. John Cosachov
Dr. John Cosachov attended New York Institute of Technology as part of an accelerated 7-year medical program with NYCOM, Bachelor of Science and graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1986. He then went on to the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine graduating in 1989. Dr. Cosachov finished his Internal Medicine residency at Cabrini Medical Center in New York, NY in 1993 where he was Chief Medical Resident. Dr. Cosachov completed a residency in pediatric and adult Allergy and Immunology in 1995 at Nassau County Medical Center ( Stony Brook University). He is a fellow of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology. Dr. Cosachov was Board certified in Internal Medicine and is Board Certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology. Dr. Cosachov received the Resident and Fellow Manuscript Excellence Award in 1995 for Pediatric Asthma, Allergy, and Immunology. He is third place winner of the Clemens Von Pirquet Award for best paper in any subject in Allergy and Immunology in 1994. Dr. Cosachov is a proud member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; American Medical Association; New York State Society of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology; Medical Society of the State of New York; Cayuga County Medical Society, and Jefferson County Medical Society. While being a member of these organizations he is also a past president of the Cayuga County Medical Society. Dr. Cosachov is on the Cayuga County Board of Health and is it's current President. He was most recently involved in a project to vaccinate high risk patients for Covid 19 in conjunction with Upstate University where they have established a graded challenge clinic. Dr. Cosachov has been in private practice since 1995 in Auburn, NY. seeing pediatric and adult patients. Since Dr. Louis Yecies retirement in June of 2010 Dr. Cosachov has been providing allergy and asthma care to patients of North Country Allergy and Immunology. |
